A Disturbing Lack of Faith

Rob Sheehy is not an ordained minister, nor a biblical scholar. Rob Sheehy is a storyteller and a thought-warrior for anyone trying to live the gospel of Christ in a challenging modern world. The ideas and opinions he provides here are an everyday guy’s take on trying to live in the modern world the way Jesus would want him to.  His messages combine his deep faith in Jesus Christ with a unique and light-hearted eye for the world around him.

Rob lives in Wisconsin, has one daughter of whom he could not possibly be more proud, and is divorced.  Somehow, a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away, he graduated from Pepperdine University. When not working, acting, or writing, he can be found savoring time and the occasional adult beverage with family and friends, on the golf course, at a sporting event, or traveling on vacations around the country.

This blog is titled A Disturbing Lack of Faith in homage to Darth Vader’s near Force choking of Admiral Motti over his ridicule of Vader’s devotion to the Force in Star Wars Episode IV.  Rob finds our society’s lack of true faith in God equally disturbing, though he won’t try to choke anyone – promise.  He’ll just keep writing to try to change it.
